Alzheimer’s San Diego and ActivCare Living are thrilled to present an online event with renowned dementia educator, @Teepa Snow.
The webinar will be held using Zoom, and participation is free and easy. In this special event with Teepa, you will learn:
- How to support a person living with dementia through the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Tips for identifying unmet needs, communication, and personal hygiene.
- Ways to adapt the principles of the Positive Approach® to Care (PAC) model when you can’t physically be together.
- Strategies for engaging and connecting using telecommunication tools.

This event is FREE for families caring for someone with dementia. While industry professionals are welcome to attend, please consider making a donation when you register.

About Zoom: Zoom is a simple online meeting program that will allow you to view and listen to the program from any computer with an internet connection. You will also be able to submit questions via an online chat function. You do not need to register or set up an account, but we do recommend logging on a few minutes early to download the required video launcher and test your audio connection. About Teepa Snow: Teepa Snow is an occupational therapist with 40 years of rich and varied clinical and academic experience. Her experiences led her to the development of the GEMS® dementia classification model and the Positive Approach® to Caretraining strategies. Her company, Positive Approach® to Care (PAC) provides online and in-person education and products. Teepa presents with extraordinary expertise and humor to audiences throughout the world.
