A New Dimension in Dementia Care
At ActivCare, we’ve led the way in residential memory care for over 35 years, supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s, Frontotemporal Disorder, Lewy Body dementia, Parkinson’s dementia, and more.
Our expert team treats every resident as a unique individual, building meaningful connections and providing compassionate, specialized care.
Expanding Our Mission—Approved Memory Care Provider for Regional Center Clients
We’re proud to extend our care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) affected by dementia—an often underserved community.
ActivCare communities are now approved vendors for the San Diego Regional Center and Regional Center Orange County. Regional Center clients with I/DD and dementia can now move to our ActivCare communities, with many costs fully covered.
ActivCare communities are specially built for those with memory loss and offer meaningful, life-enriching activities all day, every day.
What We Offer
- Inclusive, life-enhancing activities every day for all residents
- Dedicated, specially trained staff using person-centered care plans
- Daily opportunities for connection—with peers, volunteers, entertainers, and through outings

Partnership with San Diego Regional Center
Partnering with the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC), we’re dedicated to building strong partnerships with individuals and families, and to responding thoughtfully to each person’s unique needs and circumstances. If we ever fall short, we’re committed to working with you to make things right, including offering a clear path to review or appeal decisions so your voice is always heard. In compliance with the California Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC), we follow the appeals and complaint process outlined on the SDRC website.
