D. KEVIN MORIARTY
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Moriarty has more than 35 years' experience in the real estate, development, and senior housing industry. Beginning in 1992, he has coordinated the development efforts for the company, overseeing site selection and acquisition, feasibility analysis, project configuration and design, governmental approvals and construction. Since taking over the role of CEO from the company’s founder in 2016, he has also overseen all the debt and equity financing for our communities, and managed all the banking and investor relationships for the firm. Mr. Moriarty is licensed in the State of California as a Real Estate Broker and a General Contractor and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Construction Engineering.
B. RENEE BARNARD
President/Chief Financial Officer
A 29-year veteran of senior housing and health care, Ms. Barnard is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ongoing management of the company's senior housing properties, including nursing, food service, resident care, maintenance, accounting, human resources, and information technologies. She is a licensed Nursing Home and Residential Care Facility Administrator and has served on the State of California Governor's Alzheimer's Advisory Board, as well as serving on the board of directors of the Assisted Living Association of Alabama. Ms. Barnard graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Computer Science.
TODD A. SHETTER
Chief Operating Officer
With more than 30 years of experience in the senior housing and health care industry, Mr. Shetter is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the company's residential memory care communities, managing personnel and maximizing revenues with a specific focus on marketing efforts. He is a licensed Nursing Home and Residential Care Facility Administrator. In 2019, he was appointed to the California Health and Human Services Alzheimer’s Advisory Committee which represents consumers, providers, and advocates of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. An active advocate for senior housing and assisted living in California, he serves as the Past Board Chair for the California Assisted Living Association (CALA) Board of Directors. Mr. Shetter currently serves on the Community Advisory Board for the UCSD Institute of Healthy Aging and is member of the County of San Diego’s Alzheimer’s Project Care Committee. Mr. Shetter graduated from Colorado State University with degrees in Public Relations and Sociology.
Mr. Shetter is a past recipient of the Advocate of the Year Award from the California Assisted Living Association.
